 The following is what will be performed during a service:
2 or 4 Cycle Single Stage (unit has only an auger in the front-no fan or impeller) $60.00 + parts
- Check air, fuel, ignition, compression
- Perform engine leakdown test (on 4 cycle engines only)
- Check all controls
- Inspect auger paddles, belt, and related items
- Remove and inspect carburetor-soak in industrial cleaner if needed and rebuild
- Ensure cooling fins are clean
- Replace spark plug and fuel filter (where applicable)
- Add fuel stabilizer to the fuel
- Grease and lube controls and chute
- Make any necessary adjustments
- Test run
Small and Large 2 Stage $90.00 + parts
- Check air, fuel, ignition, compression
- Perform engine leakdown test (helps determine condition of engine)
- Inspect auger and impeller (fan)
- Remove and inspect carburetor-soak in industrial cleaner if needed and rebuild
- Replace spark plug and fuel filter
- Ensure cooling fins are clean
- Check all controls
- Remove belt cover and inspect belts and impeller bearing and shaft
- Removed drive cover and inspect drivetrain
- Inspect tires for dry rot and leaks-adjust tire chains if needed
- Grease and lube controls and chute
- Make any necessary adjustments
- Add stabilizer to fuel
- Test run
