 The following is what will be performed in a service operation:
- Complete disassembly of the pump assembly*.
- Thorough cleaning of all components.
- Lapping of main body, valve body, and pump mating surfaces to help ensure a good seal.
- Reassembly with new gaskets/seals and necessary parts.
- Disassembly and service of the electric motor.
- Installation and testing of unit on the vehicle that it is used on**.
*If water is found within the pump assembly during service-it is highly recommended that the angle/lines by flushed as well. If not, there will be no coverage of warranty for work performed on pump due to water contamination*.
**Should other items appear to be in need of repair (i.e. electrical system), they also will need to be addressed to ensure proper operation throughout the season**. |
